Latest update on Stavich Trail, date 10/29/11
There is major construction going on where 224 crosses overhead of the bike trail. this is at approx mile marker 2.5 on the trail from the Washington street trailhead. There will be intermittent closures thru at least May of 2012. You may be detoured or not allowed to proceed depending on the circumstances and current construction being performed at that time. This is for your safety during the construction of the new highway bridge. please be courteous and thank you for your cooperation

Stavich Bike trail
The trail is a paved trail suitable for any kind of bicycle. The trail runs from New Castle – in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania – through Lowellville, and ends at Struthers, Ohio. for more detailed information and directions to the trailhead, click on the link on our links page

West Park Nature Center Trail Partnership
has developed a Mountain Bike/Hiking Trail
at the West Park Nature Center
The trail is now open. The grand opening and ribbon cutting was held on September 11th, 2010.
